It was the first time when materials conveying experts from the sales and after-sale departments of Clyde Bergemann Europe (CBEU) participated in the POWTECH Trade EXPO, which was held in Nuremberg between Sept. 26 and 28, 2017. POWTECH is an important trade EXPO mainly involving the processing, analysis and conveying of powder and lump materials.
The 2017 Nuremberg POWTECH attracted 14,066 trade visitors, compared to the 15,235 visitors in 2014, including approximately 40% from the countries other than Germany, such as Australia, Italy, Switzerland, Czech and Poland. In addition to displaying technical innovations worldwide, the EXPO also provided many job opportunities for on-line projects and extensive supporting projects, in order to encourage the development of the sector.
CBEU is committed to providing conveying solutions of mechanical, dense phase and dilute phase pneumatic materials, including new equipment and technical upgrading and updating. Based on the original design of the dome valve, Clyde Bergemann exhibited a product exclusively designed for the processing of abrasive materials and powder materials. The heavy-duty dome valve has won great reputation in applications of shutoff valves that require absolute seal, and has been successfully applied to power generation, cement, plaster, paper, water treatment, materials and metal products industries.
The dome valve shows the same satisfactory performance when being used no matter at the container inlet, air vent or the outlet exposed to the pressure of 30bar(g) and the material temperature of 480 ℃. It is also applied as the control valve of the silo discharge and the isolating valve of materials transportation pipeline. In general conditions, the dome valve can operate for continuous 1,000,000 times when being applied jointly with the pneumatic conveying technology of Clyde Bergemann. Inflating seal only needs to be performed once a year, which makes the dome valve incomparable with all other valve products in the market.
The mechanical conveying solution of solid fuels, limestone and plaster was exhibited by the well-experienced team from Clyde Bergemann Energy & Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. The company located in Italy is dedicated to providing the perfect and effective solutions for solid fuels, including coke, fuels derived from wastes or garbages, biomass, limestone, plaster, cement and coal.
These systems are applied to process materials that are the most difficult to be treated with, including the rough, hot, sticky and wet composite materials. The following products were exhibited in the EXPO: scraper conveyor, slat conveyor, belt conveyor/dumper/shuttle conveyor, spiral conveyor and water-cooled spiral conveyor .
The 7-person team participating in the EXPO was very satisfied with the positive results achieved in this trip. It was a successful marketing and sales activity as it had realized the exchanges with new customers, discovered interesting projects and found the opportunities for future contact.
