At 11:18am on July 6, 2025, the No. 8 unit of the 1000MW ultra supercritical secondary reheating coal-fired unit of CHN Energy Zhejiang Beilun Power Plant successfully completed the 168-hour full-load trial operation, marking its commercial operation. This project will construct two units, the No. 8 & 9 units, with a planned full capacity production by 2025. By then, it will become the largest thermal power plant in China for the third time with an installed capacity of 7340MW.

Clyde Huatong is responsible for the design and supply of the fly ash handling system for the No. 8 & 9 units of this project, including the ash silo unloading system, ash hopper, and ash silo fluidizing air system. During the construction process of the project, Clyde Huatong fully cooperated with the owner, contractor, design institute, and erector to successfully complete technical services such as design, installation, and commissioning, providing guarantees for the entire unit to pass the 168-hour full-load trial operation and officially enter commercial operation.
